Alexander Vasilievich Suvorov entered the world history as the greatest Russian commander, not the victim of a single defeat in his military career. This was one of the most educated people of his time, which had extensive knowledge not only in the military sciences, but also in other areas of knowledge. He mastered several languages, was engaged in literary creativity, philosophy and history. Suvorov is great not only as a commander, he was the creator of the military doctrine and the new strategy and tactics of wars. Suvorov outlined his views in the “regimental institution” (1765), “the science of winning” (1795), as well as for squeaks and instructions. Suvorov brought up troops in the spirit of offensive tactics, paid great attention to training soldiers with professional skills and constantly took care of the moral spirit of troops. According to Denis Davydov, Suvorov “Polo lived a hand on the heart of a soldier and studied his beating,” it was not without reason that the soldiers paid him love, calling him a “Field Marshal”.
