Alexander Vasilievich Suvorov is not just a brilliant commander who has not lost a single battle, a servant to the king, father to the soldiers. For Russia, there are more Suvorov than a genius! Russia will never have a second Suvorov. He won such universal love of contemporaries that he did not use, at least during his lifetime, even Pushkin. Soldiers, officers and generals were ready to die, but to fulfill his order, and therefore won any enemy. If he hadn’t had his victories on the Rymnik and under Izmail, in the Crimea, Poland, Italy and Switzerland - who knows, what would the subsequent history of Russia become? But Suvorov not only won these victories - he raised, raised, learned, gave himself and prove himself to many wonderful military leaders: from Bagration to Kutuzov, who later defended Russia in 1812. And he forever remained in the grateful memory of the people in strict military textbooks as an unsurpassed example of patriotism and military art. We continue to learn from him and love him today.
