The time of action of the novel “Scroll” is “The present and century past”, as well as the eighteenth century. Place of action-Russian North, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Germany, Arctic. Actors are our contemporaries, characters of the recent past, as well as historical personalities, and primarily M.V. Lomonosov. But in general, it is a multifaceted and wide -wrapping romance of the Russian fate, not devoid of mysticism and mystery. The author was awarded the work of the All -Russian Literary Prize named after I.A. Goncharova and International Prize named after M.A. Sholokhov. The novel “Scroll” completes the collected works of Mikhail Popov in three volumes, issued with the support of the administration of the Arkhangelsk region to the 75th anniversary of the author.
