Seed Carrots "Churchhela", purple, seed. ALT, c/p, 0.2 g
mid-season (80-100 days) productive variety. Root crops are cone-shaped, pointed, aligned, up to 20 cm long, bright purple with an orange core. The flesh is crispy, sweet, juicy, very appetizing, with a bright aroma, contains a large amount of beta-carotene, vitamins A and K, folic acid, trace elements. Purple coloring is due to the presence of anti -oxidants in the pulp - natural antioxidants. The variety is resistant to flowering and cracking of root crops, it is perfectly stored for a long time. It is recommended for the preparation of fresh salads, borscht and vinaigrette, when freezing, it retains the original color and aroma. It grows well in illuminated areas with loose fertile sandy loam or alloyed soil with a deep arable layer. Poorly tolerates shading. It cannot stand fresh manure: when introducing it, it forms curved root crops, with many roots. Sowing is performed in late April-early May to a depth of 2-3 cm, soil is pre-loading. When the first real leaves appear, the seedlings are thinned into the interval of 3x10 cm. Carrots are cultivated with moderate nitrogen and phosphorus-caline nutrition. The best predecessors: potatoes, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, onion.
