Seed Carrots "Cutie", Sem. ALT, c/n, 2 g
Middle End (80-105 days) variety. Root crops are cylindrical, orange, 15-18 cm long, weighing 80-150 g. The pulp is very delicate and juicy, with a high content of carotene. The variety is resistant to cracking and flowering. It is recommended for growing under a film shelter to produce early vitamin products. It grows well in illuminated areas with loose fertile sandy loam or alloyed soil with a deep arable layer. Poorly tolerates shading. It cannot stand fresh manure: when introducing it, it forms curved root crops, with many roots. Sowing is carried out in late April-early May to a depth of 2-3 cm, soil is pre-loading. When the first real leaves appear, the seedlings are thinned into the interval of 3x10 cm. Carrots are cultivated with moderate nitrogen and phosphorus-caline nutrition. The best predecessors: potatoes, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, onion.
