Seed Carrots "Santa Cruise", Seminis, F1, SE. ALT, c/p, 0.3 g
A hybrid for real gourmets! A magnificent high -yielding mid -season hybrid, unpretentious in leaving. Dark orange, conical fruits, weighing 93-208 g, have excellent taste. Great for both fresh consumption and canning. With prolonged winter storage, it does not lose its high taste. The hybrid is resistant to shooting. It grows well in illuminated areas with loose fertile sandy loam or alloyed soil with a deep arable layer. Poorly tolerates shading. It cannot stand fresh manure: when introducing it, it forms curved root crops, with many roots. Sowing is carried out in late April-early May to a depth of 2-3 cm, soil is pre-loading. When the first real leaves appear, the seedlings are thinned into the interval of 3x10 cm. Carrots are cultivated with moderate nitrogen and phosphorus-caline nutrition. The best predecessors: potatoes, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, onion.
