A set of two books of famous Russian artists Vladimir Sysedkin and Tatyana Badanina.
The first book presents the series of works by Vladimir Sysedkin: “Google”, where numerous documentary landscapes, “Reliefs” cycle, consisting of a series Geometric abstractions, the Russian Fortress project, as well as illustrations for the “Venetian stanzas” by Joseph Brodsky. Its minimalism collaborates with the clarity and simplicity of geometric abstractionism. Following the evolution of the master’s work, it is clear how he is directed to the purity of his style. The most cleansed of direct philosophical interpretations, the art of Hesedkin devotes the viewer to the pristine nature of the fine element and material. The structures of his works, at the last time, approaching almost the expression of the laws of geometry, help the viewer get closer to comprehending the primary of the world.
The second book contains projects created by Tatatyana Badanina from 1999 to 2014. Among them: “Wings” (1997), “White Clothes” (2007), “Rainbow generator” (2008), “Heaven-Cosmos” (2009), “Horizons” (2012) and others. The book is opened by the introductory article of the art critic and curator Vitaly Patsyukova.
Tanya Badanina creates vestments, stucco, elastic and dual -sized ries. This can be seen in its flying objects, in the mechanisms of light and the research of the sky, which demonstrate the charm of invisible and inaccessible. Clothes created by Badanina achieve their artistic effect through fabric, color, texture, translucent, folds and border.
, most of its picturesque and graphic works of recent times, like spatial installations, have almost sterile cleanliness. The semantics of white as light, the possibilities of its figurative implementation have become the most important component of the artist’s creative search.
