A decorative plant from the Astro family, cultivated as an annual, 20-25 cm high. Flowering is plentiful from June to frost. The flowers are small, narrow-pipe, bisexual, fragrant, collected in small inflorescences-basins 1-1.5 cm in diameter, which, in turn, are collected in complex shield-shaped inflorescences up to 10 cm in diameter. It is quite drought tolerant, photophilous, but can grow with a slight shading, prefers light, moderately fertile soils. Heat -loving, it does not tolerate frosts. Grow a seedling method. Sowing is carried out in late March and early April, shoots appear after 8-12 days. Seedlings are planted in late May and early June, after the end of spring frosts. Used for planting on flower beds, in slave, mixborders, as well as in balcony boxes.
