A perennial plant from the Astro family, cultivated in central Russia as an annual. An elegant mixture with large roma-shaped inflorescences-baskets with a diameter of up to 10 cm in framing silver-green foliage. Plant height 35-40 cm. Flowering begins in July and continues until September. At the same time, the flowers are revealed only during the day, in clear sunny weather. Arctothis is drought -resistant, prefers open sunny places, is not demanding on the soil. Grow a seedling method. Sowing for seedlings is performed in late March - early April. Seals appear after 7-12 days. Young plants are planted in open ground at the end of May at a distance of 20-25 cm. When landing, it is important not to damage the root system. In the southern regions, you can grow sowing seeds in open ground in May. A great plant for mixed plantings, alpine slides, mixborders and cuts. It goes well with stunted summer children: marigolds, verbena, year, petunia, nasturtium, phlox Drummond, etc.
