It grows well in illuminated areas with loose fertile sandy loam or alloyed soil. Poorly tolerates shading. It does not endure fresh manure: when introducing it, it forms curved root crops, with many roots. Sowing is performed in late April-early May to a depth of 2-3 cm, soil is pre-loading.
