Seeds of carrots "Amsterdamsk", Sem. ALT, b/p, 1 g
Early (70-80 days) variety for children's and diet food in the first half of summer. The root crop is cylindrical, 13-15 cm, weighing 80 g. It is used for juices, mashed potatoes and short storage. It grows well in illuminated areas with loose fertile sandy loam or alloyed soil with a deep arable layer. Poorly tolerates shading. It cannot stand fresh manure: when introducing it, it forms curved root crops, with many roots. Sowing is carried out in late April-early May to a depth of 2-3 cm, soil is pre-loading. When the first real leaves appear, the seedlings are thinned into the interval of 3x10 cm. Carrots are cultivated with moderate nitrogen and phosphorus-caline nutrition. The best predecessors: potatoes, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, onion.
