A long -term rare exotic culture for growing in a greenhouse, balcony and windowsill. The fruits of an egg-shaped shape, pale cream or lemon yellow, with lilac strips, weighing 200-700 to 1300. Up juicy, sweet and sweet, honey-yellow with the taste of exotic fruits and the aroma of melon. Contains retinol (vitamin A) and ascorbic acid (vitamin C), which is no less than in citrus fruits, iron and pectin substances, a large amount of vitamin A, B1, B2 and PP. Mature fruits are served for dessert, used in fruit salads, or excellent jam is cooked from them. Unripe fruits are added to salads instead of cucumbers (peeling from the skin). At the end of February, the seeds are germinated at a temperature of 28-30 s on a wet surface in a transparent container with a lid, preferably with additional backlight. The depth of the seal is 1-1.5 cm. The seedlings appear within two weeks. Pepino is planted in separate pots in the phase of 2-3 of these leaves, deepening seedlings to cotyadolia. The substrate for planting should be light, moisture and breathable. Seedlings are planted in a film greenhouse at 60-90-day age, usually at the end of May. Planting interval 50x40 cm. Plants are formed in two to three stems. He loves loose, fertile, neutral soil, warmth and light, does not tolerate waterlogging and drying out. At the end of summer, Pepino is transplanted into a pot and transferred to a warm, bright place.
