Favorite gardeners, an unpretentious annual, excellent honey plant. A colorful mixture of stunted varieties with terry flowers of various colors: from white and pale blue to bright pink and purple. The plant forms the erect abundant stems up to 50 cm high. It is used in group and single plantings on the lawn, to create flower beds, borders, slavery and cuts into bouquets. A wonderful background plant for flower beds, front gardens, Moorish lawns. A photophilous, cold -resistant, drought -resistant plant. Unpretentiously, but prefers open sunny areas on loose nutrient neutral soils. They grow sowing seeds in open ground in late April-early May, as soon as the soil warms up to +3-5 ° C. The plants are not afraid of cold and short night frosts. Planting is also possible in October at a temperature close to zero. Seeds are sown in grooves with a depth of 1.5-2 cm, previously spilled with water. Sow with a step of 5-7 cm, mulched a soil layer of 0.3-0.5 cm and watered. Seals appear after 7-14 days. After 2-3 weeks, the seedlings are thinned out with an interval of 25-30 cm between the plants. Care consists in loosening, weeding and watering once every 3-4 days, however, watering is reduced in wet weather, since the plant does not tolerate waterlogging. Flowering is abundant and long, from June to September. Devigated baskets are removed to extend flowering.
