The work of Alexander Pavlovich Chekhov (Sedo), the older brother of the great Russian writer A.P. Chekhov and the father of the outstanding dramatic actor of the 20th century M.A. Unfortunately, Chekhov has developed as the fate of the writer of the "middle hand" and modern readers are almost unknown. Meanwhile, he was wonderful fiction. His pen owns a considerable number of beautiful stories and feuilletons worthy of reprinting and reading. In the book of selected works Al. P. Chekhov (Sedova) included several of his best stories, memories of his great brother, as well as the story “In pursuit of warmth and sun”, published only once, in 1913.
