The sea buckthorn "Pearl" has the form of a tree-like weak-haired bush with a compact oval crown, a light brown bark on the trunk and branches. The shoots are thin, straight, with weak thorns. The lecture of the crown is average.
The fruits are large (mass 100 fruits-73.0-98.0 g), wide-oval, bright orange. The taste of fruits is sweet with a pleasant aroma. The length of the stalk is 5-6 mm. The biochemical composition of the fruits: dry soluble substances - 10.2-13.1%, sugars - 5.0-10.6%, acids - 0.8-1.5%, oils - 4.0-10.4%, vitamin C - 43.4-156.2 mg%, carotenoids - 19.7 mg%. Productivity at the age of 6-7-10.9-16.3 kg per plant, or 15.2-22.6 t/ha. The fruits ripen on August 15-20, suitable for fresh consumption and various types of processing.
