Settlement: Roman, Tale. Popov A.V.
In the novel “Settlement”, the author makes an attempt to comprehend what happened to the Russian village during the collapse of the great state and the arrangement of the new (old) capitalist system on Earth. On the ruins of the traditional village, a new formation of people's cohabitation has grown - a settlement where productive work is not beneficial and a person voluntarily part with work on Earth, where people's relations are fierce to mortal hostility, where not peasants live, but settlers.
In the novel “Explosion”, the realities of the Russian hinterland of the tenth years of the XXI century are intertwined with surreal, fantasy motifs that break through the veil of provincial everyday life. The main character spends the summer months in an old family house on the river bank. This house was still acquired by his grandfather in the 1930s, and before that for several centuries he belonged to an old priestly family.
