Shklovsky V.B. Collected works. Volume 2. Biography. Shklovsky V.B.
The second volume of the collected works of Viktor Shklovsky is devoted to the diversity and internal unity of biographical strategies, thanks to which the narrator's style determined the fate of the author. The volume combines an early autobiographical trilogy (“Sentimental Journey”, “Zoo”, “Third Factory”), essential memories of the Patriotic War, written and published before its end, late memoir books returning to the beginning of life and literary career, as well as Books and oral memories of V. Mayakovsky, which became for V. Shklovsky not only a friend, but also a special kind of screen on which he projected ideas about time and himself.
Shklovsky manages to accommodate not only contemporaries (O. Brik and V. Khlebnikov, R. Jacobson and S. Eisenstein, Yu. Tynyanov and B. Eichenbauma), but those whose names have long been a long time ago The stories (Pushkin and Dostoevsky, Marco Polo and Athanasius Nikitin, Suvorov and Ferdose) belong. These works collected together allow you to see the figure of their author completely differently, to identify a connection where they had previously seen a gap. The comments traced the additions and changes that the Roman Zoo has surrounded for fifty years of lifetime reprints.
