John Ronald Ruel Tolkien (01/01/1892-2.09.1973) - writer, poet, philologist, professor of Oxford University, ancestor of modern fantasy. In 1937, the “hobbit” was written, and in the mid-1950s three books “The Lord of the Rings” were seen, telling about the Middle-earth-a world inhabited by representatives of magic races with complex culture, history and mythology.
