“In other times, we mourn the dead reflections, in others-the deeds of the sins”-this quote from Saint-EMRONE became an epigraph for the novel “Sini” of one of the “last romantics” of French literature, the poet and writer Henri de Rainier. In his “History”, the writer once again reveals to the reader the riddle of love, which is not subject to time or mores: all the thoughts and actions of heroes, regardless of the era, only expose our view of the inner drama of the human feeling, enslaved by the disastrous power of love.
