Cylindrical melting inserts RT28 are used to protect against overload and short circuit in distribution equipment with a working frequency of 50 Hz, a rated voltage of 500V and a nominal current of not more than 63 A (in condenser units, it is recommended to use fellars of RT36-00 instead of this device).
On the body, the tank of the insert has a signaling device (designation x), which consists of a neon lamp and resistors.
The fellars of RT28-32 and RT28-63 are divided into types GG and AM. The GG type includes ordinary fading inserts with a full turning -out ability.
Type AM felled inserts are used to protect engines and have a partial disconnecting member.
