Mikhail Nestorovich Speransky (1863–1938) - Russian philologist, folklorist, Byzantineist. He was a professor at Moscow University, corresponding member of the Imperial St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences (1902), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1921) and a member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1926).
In this publication, the author, starting to write under The leadership of the experts of the ancient monuments Nikolai Savvich Tikhonravov, presented the attitude of the apocryphal gospels to the canonical, also examines the primary gospel, the Gospel of Foma and Nikodimovo Gospel, and the essays about the Lord, his miracles and deeds were attached.
