Doctor of Philosophy, Yaromir, the Slovak writer, publicist and teacher living in the Czech Republic. He graduated from the Philosophy Faculty of University I. A. Komensky with a degree in Archival Science (Historical Sciences). After graduation, he taught at the universities Bratislava and Prague. Its publishing is based on the history of the struggle of society with various manifestations of crime. But the sphere of his interests is much wider. Starting with the history of Slovakia from the VIII to the XXI century, through the history of murders, natural and technical disasters, social scandals and ending with important milestones or events of countries around the world.

Today we will get acquainted with the significance of Celtic and German gods , we are interested in the myths of these tribes, but we are surprisingly cold and indifferent to our own Slavic gods. Perhaps this is due to the fact that, according to the most common ideas, Slavic myths did not exist at all. However, to this day, various fragments of Old Slavonic mythology have been preserved, which came to us in folk songs, traditions and traditions. The book contains the oldest Slavic legends that were passed down from mouth to mouth, from generation to generation, when our ancestors had no writing. Later, myths and legends were replaced by historical facts and many Slavic kingdoms arose, which left a mark in world history and laid the foundations of our future.

Yaromir listened in literary form united the fractions scattered according to folk songs, customs and fairy tales, in Old Slavic myths. The book is based on ancient written sources, testifying to the life of the ancient Slavs and, based on knowledge of Indo -European myths and imagination, describes the original Slavic ideas about the origin of the gods and the world.
