Small collected works. Aristotle
Aristotle is a great ancient Greek thinker who had a huge impact on the development of European and world culture, an encyclopedist scientist who stood at the origins of modern science.
The present book includes the three most important works of Aristotle:
- “metaphysics”- the fundamental work of the philosopher, outlining his doctrine of four primorders, or first-hand, all that things;
- “politics”, in which Aristotle considers the main forms of government and the purpose of the state, defining the latter as “communication organized for the sake of the common good”;
- “Poetics”- a treatise dedicated to the theory of drama, which has been determined by the development of the European theory of literature for many centuries ahead.
