Social Democratic fractions of the I and II State Duma. Savelyev P.Yu.

Social Democratic factions in the State Duma had the status of a party organization of the RSDLP with the right to accept new members. Possessing legalism as a deputy association, they played a special role among the highest institutions of the party. The faction personified the party center in the public sphere, used the Central Committee of the RSDLP to create additional communication channels with local organizations and emigration. The documents included in the collection allow us to relatively fully reconstruct the activities of the first two fractions of the RSDLP in the Duma. The protocols of fractional meetings and the materials attached to them, which make up the core of the book, are published for the first time. The collection is designed for specialists of historians and a wide reader interested in Russian history.
