Songs of the gods of the people Ainu

The collection of “Songs of the gods of the people of Ainu” (“Aina Sinyusya”) was collected and recorded by the young girl Tiri Yukie (1903-1922) - the daughter of Ainov from the Tikafumi community who lived on Hockey. She lived for only incomplete twenty years, but managed to accomplish a real feat-saved from oblivion the unique epic of Ainov, one of the most mysterious peoples of the globe. They never had writing, and if it weren’t for their young fellow tribesman, the world would not have recognized the strange and beautiful songs of the Ainsky gods... The basis of this book is the first translation into the Russian language of all thirteen “divine” songs of Ainu, included in the “Aina Singeen”.

The book precedes an extensive introductory article, which describes in detail all aspects of the life and beliefs of this amazing people.
