Sound and rage

“Sound and rage” is the main novel by Faulkner, more than once filmed, included in the list of 100 best English -speaking novels according to Time magazine. A novel that is not tired of arguing so far. This is a fantastically virtuoso story in the form, which is not so easy to figure out. The most significant artistic discovery of the writer was that in one of the parts of the novel the story is conducted on behalf of oligophrenic, and in the other - on behalf of his brother, gradually going crazy. It may seem that it is difficult to read such a text - sometimes there are actually no punctuation marks in it, some are simply not completed. But thanks to this, we begin to better understand the heroes, literally penetrate into their souls, which produces a completely stunning effect.
