“Sound and rage” is the main novel by Faulkner, more than once filmed, included in the list of 100 best English -speaking novels according to Time magazine. This “family drama” traditional for the southern prose about crime and incest, passion and atonement frames the endless stylistically innovative finds of the author, the most important of which is to use the “stream of consciousness”. It may seem that it is difficult to read such a text - sometimes there are actually no punctuation marks in it, some are simply not completed.
