“Sovereign” is the most famous work of the Florentine statesman of the Renaissance Niccolo Machiavelli (1469-1527), who brought him universal glory.

The book is, in fact, a universal leadership of the science of management of any state system. In his fundamental work, Machiavelli describes and compares the examples gathered from ancient history with his own observations over his era, and on this basis derives certain rules and laws of political life, gives practical advice to the rulers (sovereigns, princes, crows).

The basic principles of political philosophy, formulated by Machiavelli more than 500 years ago, remain in demand at the present time and retain their relevance for many, many years.
