This book is a special translation allowance, which is understood as the transfer of written or oral texts from various branches of science, technology and human activity by means of another language. The manual consists of 19 lessons dedicated to the military, legal, economic, scientific, technical and medical translation. Each lesson includes the vocabulary of the lesson, commentary, training exercises and texts for translation from English into Russian and from Russian into English. At the end of the book, additional texts are contained for translating, reference and annotation, taken from domestic and foreign sources.

The manual is designed for students studying the practical course of a special translation in addition to the artistic and socio-political (general) translation, as well as those who would like to acquire the skills of translation, reference and annotation of special texts.
