Spinal diseases and spinal cord
The monograph summarizes the many years of experience of authors in diagnostics and comprehensive treatment of the most common in the practice of a radial diagnostician, neurologist, an orthopedic traumatologist, as well as a neurosurgeon of spinal diseases and spinal cord. Radiation diagnostics is represented by the data of magnetic resonance and computed tomography with morphometry of various parameters of the vertebral segment and the determination of the mineral density of bone tissue. Particular attention is paid to the methodology of color duplex scanning in the pathology of the cervical spine. The basis of the treatment is based on the principle of “growing radicalism” using primarily conservative therapy, including manual medicine, as well as minimally invasive puncture methods with electrical stimulation and destruction of certain structures, including using laser exposure and endovideosurgery. For the first time, the experience of outpatient neurosurgery is presented. Modern surgical methods of stabilization of the spine are described, including optimized vertebria.
The book is intended for radiation diagnosticians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, traumatologists, manual therapists and doctors of other specialties involved in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the spine and spinal cord, as well as for students of higher medical educational institutions.
