In the training manual, summarizing the multi-year pedagogical experience of the faculty of the Department of Nervous Diseases of the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirova, taking into account the data of modern literature, is presented information about the anatomy, physiology, diseases and injuries of the spinal cord. Separately considered issues of embryogenesis, regeneration and abnormalities of the development of the spinal cord.
