“Spiritual horizons, or the kingdom of God” is a new book by the monk Simeon, which continues a series of informative works of this author: “Climbing to the sky” and “Nine words”. All these books are united by deep rooting in the patristic tradition and the original author’s style, simplicity of presentation, lively full language, bright imagery and aphorism of expressions.

“Spiritual horizons” can be attributed to the classical genre of hundreds of hundreds. These sayings consist of eight chapters (the number eight in the biblical history indicates infinity), conclusion and epilogue. Each chapter consists of a hundred short chapters. Any small head is either aphorism or maxim.
