A grassy perennial. Popular spaces-aromatic and medicinal plant, good honey plant. Height –40-60 cm. Leaves and young shoots are used in fresh and dried form as a seasoning for various dishes, and for medicinal purposes, flowers and upper grassy parts are harvested during flowering.

Issopian essential oil has an antimicrobial and antiviral effect, is used for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, rheumatism. It is valued for a pleasant intense aroma, high decorativeness, medicinal, honey and food qualities.

The plant is drought -resistant, prefers sunny places clean from weeds with loose soil. The depth of the seeds of seeds is 0.6-1 cm. When propagation through seedlings, Issop is sown in the first decade of March. When the 5-6th sheet appears, the seedlings are transplanted to a permanent place according to the 40x60 cm scheme and water well. In case of an unbridle method of growing, seeds are sown in open ground in April-May.
