Stained glass windows: the best writers of Croatia in one book

The book represents a colorful to the Russian -speaking reader and at the same time a harmonious picture of the Croatian literature of our time. It included works by the so-called new Croatian prose of the 1990s from the anthology “22 in the shade”, uniting twenty-two then very young and talented authors, many of whom today have a reputation as undoubted masters of the word. As well as the texts of representatives of the older generation, well known not only in Croatia, but also in Europe. Writers have different views, different manner of narrative, they use various techniques to express their ideas and observations, but in these bright prosaic fragments of the “Croatian mosaic” the general problems of European literature, and all of humanity are refracted.
