The book of the famous publicist and poet Alexander Bobrov is devoted to the perpetuating of the memory of Soviet pilots who fought in the sky of Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War and gave their lives in battles for their homeland. The book gives a description by the author of the fate and feat of his older brother-Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Bobrov, who died during the defense of the city on the Neva. In 2024, the 80th anniversary of the breakthrough and the removal of the blockade of Leningrad is celebrated in Russia.
