Stalin. Memories and assessments of contemporaries

Figure I.V. Stalin is one of the key in the history of the dramatic, saturated with the events of the 20th century. In the eyes of witnesses of this great era, the head of the Soviet state played different, often contrary to each other. He was called an experienced and cautious political player, but a man whose straightforwardness and temper reached rudeness. For some, Stalin was a dictator and a guide of an unreasonably tough domestic political course, for others - the “father of the peoples”, who led the country in the most difficult years of the Great Patriotic War.

The book presents the memoirs of contemporaries and V. Stalin: statesmen standing stood with statesmen standing. At the origins of the Soviet state, - V.I. Lenin and L.D. Trotsky, as well as the outstanding writer-Frontovik K.M. Simonova.
