Sylvester Yarrow experiences a strip of failure. After the death of her mother, she supports the family business of cosmic cargo transportation, but due to the frequent attacks of Nigilov, Sil risk losing everything. She sets off for help to the capital of the republic, to the planet Coruscant, but instead of doing their own business, it turns out to be drawn into Swara of the two most influential families of the galaxy.

In the meantime, the Jedi Vernestra Row was called to the Coruscant, but it has no idea who and why. When the Vernestra and her Padavan Imry, as well as the Jedi Master Comack White and his Padavan Rit arrive in the capital, they are asked to help resolve the dispute between two families on the frontier. But why? The answer will lead the Verneret to a new understanding of its abilities, and Sil will plunge into the past... and find out the truth that will finally come out of the shadows.
