In the new book of the Laureate of the Literary Prize named after V. Rasputin, the famous Irkutsk writer Oleg Slobodchikov, presented a selection of taiga adventure stories, covering the period from the 80s of the last century to the present. Their heroes are the people of the taiga, fugitives from cities, opponents of mass culture, striving for the simplicity of everyday life, for unity with nature. In adventure form, sometimes with elements of science fiction, these fascinating stories convey the spiritual searches of ordinary people of the Siberian hinterland.
