Collections of the poems of Joseph Brodsky (1940 - 1996) “Stop in the desert”, “End of the beautiful era”, “Part of speech”, “New stans by August”, “Urania” and “Landscape with the Flood” were published in 1970- The 90s are the ARDIS American publishing house, where the works of Russian literature have been published for many years, which could not see the light in their homeland. Brodsky wrote that this publishing house saved numerous Russian writers and poets from oblivion and changed the climate of Russian literature itself. The collection “Stop in the Desert” included poems of the 1960s, including “Big Elegy to John Donnu”, “A. A. Akhmatova, "Developing Krylova", "In the village, God does not live in the corners...", "Winter evening in Yalta" and many others.
