In recent years, Averchenko’s legacy began to return to the domestic reader. But only now, after many years of textological efforts, finally the opportunity appeared to publish the best works of one of the greatest Russian comedians as the author himself thought. The second is the collection “Funny Oysters”, as well as the memories and responses of famous contemporaries and critics of the writer.
