“This is the only book about Wall Street that falls directly into the apple,” wrote in The New York Sun. “Wall Street Stories” is a collection of 8 stories in which the author brightly and reliably conveys the atmosphere of the exchange at the turn of the XIX-XX century. Lefevr was a successful financial journalist and interacted closely with the public Wall Street, so his stories are based on real events. At the same time, the prototypes of the actors are famous financiers of the time of the level of Buffett and Soros. First published in 1901, the book survived many reprints and deservedly is a classic of exchange literature.
