This little story about the friendship of a boy and a pelican is recognized in Australia by the classic of children's literature. Once the boy found a nest ruined by poachers and picked up three chicks. Together with his father, a simple fisherman, he went out, but he especially attached to Mr. Persival so he called his pet, whom he had never separated. Until the irreparable story has happened about how the boy and Pelican remained faithful to their friendship to the end. Colin Tile’s book forms the basis of the family film “My Friend Mr. Persival”, the main roles in which were played by the winner of the Oscar Prize Jeffrey Rush and Jai Courtney.
