The course of the resistance of materials was stated, complemented by elements of the theory of elasticity, plasticity, creep and destruction. Modern methods of calculating the strength of structural elements are presented, in particular the method of final elements. The tasks of strength and stability, vibrations of rods, elements of the theory of records and shells are considered. Examples of constructing models of strength reliability under different loading conditions are given. For students, graduate students of TTUZ and engineers working in aviation and mechanical engineering.
