Fern and Aiden have been married for seven years, but their marriage is more likely to resemble friendship than the union of two loving hearts. Fern desperately wants to establish their relationship, but Aiden has a living plans for life.

Suddenly, the couple wins a million pounds. Fern and Aiden understand that this is a happy lottery ticket in a new life. They agree to take a pause: Aiden leaves to explore Australia, about which he dreamed all his life, and Fern goes to Provence.
