Ivan Sergeyevich Shmelev (1873-1950) - Russian writer, publicist, Orthodox thinker, was nominated for the Nobel Prize in literature. The tragic events associated with the revolution and military events, especially the execution of the twenty -five -year -old son, an officer of the tsarist army, in 1922 they moved Shmelev to emigration abroad.
