Summer tire Maxxis HP-M3 Bravo 285/50 R20 116V
The Maxxis HP-M3 Bravo summer passenger bus is designed for those SUVs and crossovers that are operated exclusively on asphalt roads. It is on them that it demonstrates all its many advantages, namely excellent adhesion on dry and wet coating, a high level of comfort and a very long service life. It became possible to achieve such high operational characteristics thanks to the technologies that were previously used in racing tires and proved their excellent effectiveness.
5-ribs non-directional tread
A significant part of the effectiveness of the Maxxis HP-M3 Bravo is ensured by protective pattern. It is distinguished by the “time -tested” design with 5 longitudinally located ribs. Each of these elements has a massive size and inextricable design, which gives the tire a very stable and predicted behavior, especially when moving at high speed.
The increased content of the coupling edges
One of the characteristic features of this model is increased traction-combat properties. They are ensured due to the presence of a large number of clutch edges. A significant part of them is formed not by blocks, but by lamellas cut into them, located mainly transversely and having a large length. This allows the tire to demonstrate very high efficiency, both in acceleration and when slowing down. These properties are especially pronounced on a wet road. Under such conditions, the lamella not only form a lot of clutch edges, but also remove water from the contact spot in one of the nearby drainage grooves, improving the resistance of aquaplanging.
increased stability in Maxxis HP-M3 Bravo turns
Another distinctive feature of the tread of this tire is very wide shoulder zones. Each of them is a number of separate rectangular blocks. Together with their transverse location and the presence of several lamellas in them, this greatly reduces the length of the brake road.
low noise level
When moving, this tire has a very worthy acoustic comfort. Its significant part is ensured by special longitudinal ribs located in the shoulder tread zones. They interfere with the spread of noise generated by numerous clutches in the central part of the tread. As for the blocks of shoulder zones, their noise was also minimized due to their multi -step location relative to each other.
The main features:
- The tire is designed by the Maxxis HP-M3 Bravo for crossovers and SUVs operating mainly on asphalt roads;
- A very strict frame design, adapted for prolonged movement at high speed, gives the tire a very stable and predicted tire behavior, and also increases the resistance to uneven wear;
- wide shoulder zones with numerous massive blocks improve adhesion in corners, provides transparent feedback, optimizes the distribution of external load on the contact spot, reduces the length of the brake path;
- numerous lamellas increase hundreds of times the number of adhesion edges, and also prevent the occurrence of aquaplane, due to the removal of water from the contact spot in one of the nearby drainage grooves;
- a high level of acoustic comfort due to special soundproofing longitudinal ribs in shoulder zones of the tread.
