Superman, Batman, Spider-Man-Superheroes-almost over the century of its existence, have become one of the pillars of modern pop culture, and their catchy, spectacular theatrical and sports costumes are one of the most recognizable symbols of the 20th century. In the book of the visual communication of Barbara Brownie and the criticism of the cinema and comics, Danny Graidon, for the first time, attempted an interdisciplinary analysis of the superhero costume.

The authors show how their “Fashion” was transformed from the first comics about Superman to modern film franchis, examining in detail the relationship of the superhero and its vestments.
