In the figure of Casimir Malevich, the revolutionary spirit that was imbued with European art of the beginning of the 20th century was imbued with the brightest way. Taking into account the experience of cubism and futurism, the artist took the next step, freeing the form from the non -solid content of it and announcing the primacy of color energy. So there was a new radical direction of the avant -garde - Suprematism. His picturesque manifesto was the world -famous “black square”, but for Malevich the affirmation of new aesthetic principles was a matter of not only artistic practice, but also of deep philosophical reflection, which was embodied in many articles, declarations and treatises.

The collection included selected works, many of which were published during the artist’s life in 1916-1928, while others were found in archives and saw the light only in the 90s of the last century.
