Surgical dentistry

The textbook was created by employees of the Department of Surgical Dentistry of FGAOU in "First MGMU named after THEM. Sechenov ”of the Ministry of Health of Russia (Sechenov University).

The chapters relating to the organization of surgical dental care to the population in the Russian Federation are the latest directive documents and orders, the recommendations for the work of the doctor of the dentist-surgeon, which are carried out on the principles of ethics and deontology. The issues of the etiology and pathogenesis of each nosological form are considered. Pathological anatomy, clinical picture, diagnosis, as well as treatment and routing methods of the patient to other specialized medical institutions are described. In a chapter devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors and tumor -like formations, much attention is paid to the principle of oncological alertness.

The textbook is intended for students of dental faculties of medical universities.
