Survivor. The first secretary of Griboedov. Bakhrevsky V.A.
Rare luck - to become a friend and assistant to a great person, personally observing the events of his life, which will later become history. That is how in the 1820s the young Ivan Sergeyevich Maltzov was lucky when he met Alexander Sergeyevich Griboedov.
Maltov not only became friends with this outstanding writer, but also went to Persia with him, becoming the first secretary of the embassy, led by Griboedov. Nevertheless, a special success for Maltzov can be considered that he did not have to pay his life for the opportunity to enter the circle of friends of a great person. As you know, Griboedov tragically died, becoming a victim of a massacre at the Russian embassy in Tehran.
